Pence to visit largest mosque in Southeast Asia

Vice President Mike Pence will tour the largest mosque in Southeast Asia during his visit to Indonesia on Thursday.

Pence will visit with the U.S. Ambassador to the Republic of Indonesia, Joseph R. Donovan Jr., before sitting down with Indonesian President Joko Widodo.

The Christian vice president will then take a walking tour of the Istiqlal Mosque in Jakarta, Indonesia. The mosque is the third largest Sunni facility in the world, with a 200,000-person capacity.

Pence spent Easter weekend in South Korea visiting U.S. and Korean troops.
