Trump: ‘Fake news CNN’ is being beaten by Fox News

President Trump ripped CNN Monday morning for restarting its polling operation following the presidential election and said its competitors are doing a much better job.

“Just heard Fake News CNN is doing polls again despite the fact that their election polls were a WAY OFF disaster. Much higher ratings at Fox,” Trump tweeted.

Trump has complained about CNN for much of the last year and a half, sparring with reporters from the network and deeming it “fake news” since the election.

CNN’s polling operation, like many polling organizations around the country, failed to predict Trump’s win in November. That failure, along with critical reporting in the ensuing months, has seemingly discredited the network with the White House.

While CNN has fired back at Trump about its ratings in the past and reporters have fought back against White House criticisms, the network has also hired a series of pro-Trump pundits in order to make the president’s case on air.
